Calls for Trans-National Access

 

ARCHLAB, MOLAB and FIXLAB CALL FOR PROPOSALS ARE OPEN

 

– deadline September 15th 2015

 

CATS is one of the 23 partners in the IPERION CH together with a large network of affiliations and collaborations. The consortium joins together major centres of research in Heritage Science, including outstanding research institutes, as well as prestigious research laboratories and conservation centres in both museums and universities.

 

Following the successful project CHARISMA, the new project Integrated Platform for the European Research Infrastructure ON Culture Heritage IPERION CH is now launching its first call for proposals.

 

In the frame of the European strategy Horizon 2020, IPERION CH gives scientific teams access to world-class tools and knowledge of Europe’s leading facilities in Heritage Science. Groups of researchers from European or associated countries can apply with their proposal until September 15th, 2015 (23:59 CET) to access one or more of the 19 facilities.

 

Proposals can be addressed to three advanced transnational platforms ARCHLAB, FIXLAB and MOLAB:

  • Archives in European museums or conservation institutes (ARCHLAB);
  • Advanced mobile analytical instrumentations for in-situ non invasive measurements (MOLAB);
  • Integrated platforms where large scale facilities are coupled with medium scale installations (FIXLAB).

 

Access is free for users from EU Member States, EU Associated States or Developing Countries with proposal/-s approved for funding as long as the results can be made public.
